On the day his first child is born, Dan decides to have a swift pint with his best friend before he goes to the hospital. Halfway down the pint, all hell breaks loose. Wetting the baby’s head will never be the same again.

Sober is a new comedy film co-written and starring Dean Smith (Waterloo Road) and Tom Gibbons (Funny Cow). The film is directed by Matthew Cooper. Sober was shot on location in Leeds in early 2023 and used innovative production techniques to complete the film on a low budget.
